Optima is currently seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be focused on providing a welcoming presence, collaborative team focus, and accurate efficient services in our corporate office.
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Process enrollments quickly and accurately
- Resolve employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers
- Consult with employees regarding eligibility and other pertinent issues
- Assist employees in enrolling in dental, vision, and medical insurance plans
- Coordination of timekeeping and payroll systems
- Process bi-weekly payroll and calculate garnishments
- 401k audits, 1095-c processing, and EEO-1 filling

Assists with other tasks as directed
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in benefits administration and payroll
- Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- Ability to be professional and keep information confidential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Positive attitude that welcomes teamwork
- Multitask efficiently
