Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, management, and operational efficiency of our facilities. This dynamic role involves coordinating maintenance activities, supervising technical staff, and ensuring all building systems operate smoothly to support our manufacturing and industrial operations. Duties
- Manage daily facilities operations, including maintenance schedules and service requests to ensure optimal functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, providing leadership and guidance for routine inspections and emergency repairs.
- Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history for all equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with project teams on facility upgrades or modifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
- Monitor electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring schematics; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Maintain documentation of schematics, wiring diagrams, and system manuals for reference and compliance purposes.
- Conduct regular inspections of industrial equipment, HVAC units, and safety systems to prevent downtime or hazards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical work, and high voltage systems.
- Manage vendor relationships for facility services such as HVAC servicing, electrical repairs, or equipment procurement.
- Lead initiatives in facilities management that support manufacturing processes while promoting safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting (including high voltage and low voltage), schematics interpretation, and industrial equipment.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
- Supervising experience with technical teams or contractors in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing automation is a plus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and industrial safety standards is preferred.
