What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONSTRUCTION LABORER – ENVIRONMENTAL & PETROLEUM CONSTRUCTION position at Optima Environmental Services, Inc?
About Optima
Optima Environmental Services is a growing environmental and petroleum service company serving the Hudson Valley. We install and remove underground and aboveground storage tanks, respond to petroleum spills, handle environmental remediation, and support construction projects for commercial, municipal, and residential customers across seven counties.
We employ people full-time, year-round. That means 52 weeks of work, not seasonal layoffs.
What You'll Do
You'll work alongside experienced mechanics and equipment operators on petroleum construction, tank installations and removals, piping, excavation support, concrete work, vacuum truck operations, and environmental cleanup. The work changes day to day. You'll load and unload materials, operate hand and power tools, maintain a safe job site, and assist with whatever the crew needs to get the job done right.
Some days you're digging. Some days you're in a Tyvek suit on a remediation site. Some days you're helping set a tank. We're not looking for someone who only wants to do one thing — we're looking for someone who wants to build real skills across the trade and grow into more responsibility over time.
