Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople by handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete forms, and building supplies to support various phases of construction
- Help with concrete pouring, mixing using concrete mixers, and finishing surfaces for smooth results
- Install rebar and assist with formwork construction according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools following safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on-site
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly desirable
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematic
- Knowledge of concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pouring techniques
- Experience with masonry, stucco, or roofing is a plus flooring and epoxy.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices for site safety compliance
- Valid driver’s license experience for transportation needs
