Position Title: Journeyman Electrician

Pay Rate: $86.11 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing equipment.
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, controls, and other electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician License (required).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA clearance (required).
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform work at heights when required.
