RATE: $55-60/HR WITH BENEFITS AND PTO
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure/Entra SME to lead and support enterprise identity and access management (IAM) initiatives. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure authentication and authorization solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connection, ADFS, Active Directory, and CAP frameworks. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in modern identity platforms and play a key role in ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the SME for Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Connection, providing technical leadership and guidance on identity federation, SSO, and access governance.
- Administer and optimize Active Directory and ADFS environments to support secure authentication and seamless integration with cloud and on-prem applications.
- Support and enhance CAP (Common Access Platform) processes to ensure consistent and compliant access provisioning across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and application owners to implement IAM policies and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues, including authentication failures, access anomalies, and integration challenges.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IAM configurations, workflows, and procedures to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Participate in IAM-related projects including migrations, upgrades, and new integrations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Connection in enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and ADFS administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with CAP or similar access control frameworks.
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, RBAC, and identity federation.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for IAM automation.
- Exposure to IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, or Azure AD B2C.
- Experience with audit and access review processes.
Salary : $55 - $60
