Title: AI / ML Engineer Financial Services
Location: Auburn Hills, MI, Farmington Hills, MI, Frisco, TX or Remote
Role Summary
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade machine learning models supporting risk management, fraud detection, customer analytics, and operational efficiency within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy ML models using Python and modern ML frameworks
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to consume governed data pipelines
- Implement model monitoring, performance tracking, and drift detection
- Collaborate with Model Risk and Compliance teams to ensure explainability and fairness
- Support re-training and optimization of models as business and regulatory requirements evolve
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience in applied machine learning or data science
- Strong Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
- Experience deploying models into production environments
- Familiarity with explainability techniques (e.g., SHAP, LIME)
- Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex
- Fraud, credit, AML, or customer analytics experience
