Job Title: WC Claims Specialist, Medical Only
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Claims Specialist manages non-complex medical only claims. Reviews policy coverages and determines validity and compensability of the claim. Communicates claim status with the customer, claimant and client. Meets or exceeds performance competencies and adheres to client and carrier guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
TOP QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years managing complex Workers’ Compensation claims in Il and KY jurisdiction. Will consider MI and IN, if worked extensively in those states.
- A home state license that is reciprocal (ex, Florida or Texas)
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Research, Analytics and Documentation
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint
- Multiple screens/monitors
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
- Experienced Examiner
- State Certified in IL and Licensed in MI, IN, KY or Licensed in a reciprocal state (e.g., TX, FL, or equivalent)

Pay: $51,807.00 - $83,551.00 per year
