JOIN US TODAY!!! Make a difference in a child’s life by enhancing the emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual growth and well-being of children at Kids Unlimited Early Learning Center.
- Provide basic cares to children at Kids Unlimited Early Learning Center; including feeding, toileting, diapering, etc.
- Develop and implement child activity plans based on the age and developmental abilities of the children
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as appropriate to individual child’s needs
- Monitor the health and safety of each child served
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with the family
- Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations required by State Licensing
- Evaluate children’s progress and development
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have completed high school or its equivalency
- Prior experience preferred, but not required
- Must have minimum of Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher/lead teacher certification, or equivalent courses. Teachers hired for an infant or toddler classroom must have completed Infant and Toddler Care or its equivalent, or be willing to complete within 6 months of hire
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within the first 3 months of employment
- Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test, physical evaluation, and TB Test
- Frequent to occasional, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, standing, and walking
- Must be caring and compassionate, and enjoy working with children.
