Pay rate : $18.48 $5.35 (Health and Wellness) per hour

Location: Ft. Indiantown Gap PA

Job Summary

The Order Filler fills shipping or transfer orders for finished goods from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications on customer sales slips, unit orders, or picking manifests. They pick, pack, and kit outbound supplies, and track short supplies.

Primary Duties

• Read and interpret generated pick tickets, unit orders, and manifests to precisely locate and pull merchandise from stock areas.

• Pick, pack, kit, and secure finished goods, rations, and subsistence lines for outbound unit delivery or Supply Point pickup. Use of forklifts and high reach pickers to pick and load truck.

• Indicate items filled or omitted on the picking sheets, maintaining accurate tracking to prevent inventory data leakage.

• Keep thorough, clean records of outgoing orders, and report short supplies, low stock, or damaged packaging straight to the supervisor.

• Kit multiple ration components onto individual unit pallets, wrapping and labeling them cleanly according to specific troop numbers.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Stock Clerks to accelerate processing times during high up-tempo surges.

• Execute manual case-picking within dry storage areas and cold-storage refrigeration spaces as required by the delivery manifest.

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.

• 1 year of experience in order picking, retail fulfillment, or general warehouse logistics preferred.

• Forklift license preferred or able to pass a forklift license test within 30 days.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong basic reading, counting, and matching skills to fill complex multi-item orders accurately.

• Speed and agility to maneuver warehouse floors and execute case-picking on tight timelines.

• Detail-oriented mindset to check product labels, quantities, and condition of picked boxes.

• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-centric environment under direct supervisor instruction.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required Must be able to continuously stand, walk, reach throughout the duration of the shift. Must be capable of frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to pull cases from lower or upper storage locations.

The employee will lift or move products and supplies, up to 55 pounds, and work in cold temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

This position operates in a warehouse environment, including dry storage rooms, refrigerated coolers ( 32°F to 45°F), and a bulk freezer environment maintaining a -10°F temperature threshold. Work is required during regular weekdays and scheduled training weekends.
