Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Materials Planner located in Chattanooga, TN. The Materials Planner will be responsible for planning and managing production schedules to fulfill customer demands. They will coordinate purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and oversee materials to align with production requirements. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data to optimize materials management strategies and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong competencies in Production Planning and Materials Management
- Experience in handling Purchase Orders and ensuring procurement processes
- Proficient Analytical Skills to solve problems and optimize workflows
- Knowledge of Inventory Control techniques and best practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is a plus
