Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical/electronic components and sub-assemblies according to customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. This position supports production goals while adhering to safety requirements and the Integrated Management System (IMS).

- Direct Manager: Assembly Supervisor
- Functional Manager: N/A
- Direct Reports: N/A
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical/electronic parts and components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances per customer and quality requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions, production labels, and standard operating procedures
- Use hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines, including TOP Safety and ILUO procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership
Qualifications & Competencies
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and assembly documentation
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to identify defects and quality issues
Behavioral Competencies
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a production environment
- Dependable and safety-conscious
- Able to follow instructions and work procedures consistently

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
