Job Title: Industrial Project Associate Director
Type of contract: Full-time

Scope: U.S. plant scope with international collaboration across global engineering and industrial project teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the full greenfield industrial project for the new Toledo plant from initial concept through installation, commissioning, and ramp-up
- Coordinate all engineering activities across paint, injection molding, assembly, automation, maintenance, and logistics teams
- Oversee equipment specification, design, installation, testing, and optimization across production areas
- Drive project timing, budgeting, cost control, and risk management to ensure flawless execution
- Track material needs, address technical challenges, and lead cross-functional problem-solving
- Enforce spending discipline and ensure project milestones are met without overshoot
- Manage approximately 20 engineers and technical staff, including delegation, workload planning, and performance discussions
- Implement OPmobility project management methodologies and maintain all project documentation
- Support compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including IATF where applicable
- Collaborate closely with global engineering, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership during equipment commissioning and early production phases
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects
- Direct greenfield project experience required
- Experience managing engineering teams or overseeing multi-disciplinary technical groups
- Strong project management skills with MS Project required
- Experience in automation, production lines, paint, or injection molding is a strong plus
- PMP certification and knowledge of IATF standards are strong advantages
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Able to lead experts, drive accountability, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Comfortable managing complex priorities and delivering under tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment
- English required; additional languages a plus
