The Mission

As a Solution Engineer, you will translate deep hands-on delivery experience into demos and solutions that show enterprise buyers exactly how much faster, cheaper, and safer their implementations can be.

You will join a high-performing, supportive, and results-oriented pre-sales team with a culture built on individual development, collaboration, and the autonomy to improve our processes and solutions rather than just follow them.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Ownership: Serve as the technical lead on active opportunities, running discovery, demos, and proofs of concept that map Opkey’s platform to each customer’s delivery challenges.
• Outcome-Driven Demos: Use active listening to uncover customer pain points, then tailor every demo to the outcomes that matter to that buyer, not a generic script.
• Demo Assets: Build and continuously improve demo environments, scripts, and reusable assets that raise the bar for the entire pre-sales team.
• Product Feedback Loop: Channel customer pain points, objections, and competitive intel back to product management to sharpen the roadmap.
• Platform Expertise: Ramp quickly on the Opkey platform and stay current across Oracle Cloud, Workday, UKG, and adjacent enterprise applications.
• Escalation and Alignment: Manage up proactively, surface risks early, and keep sales, product, and delivery stakeholders aligned through the deal cycle.

First 90 Days

• Complete demo certification and independently deliver tailored demos for Oracle and Workday prospects.
• Take technical ownership of active opportunities, leading discovery through POC.
• Ship at least one improvement to the team’s demo environments or reusable assets.
• Establish a working feedback loop with product management on customer pain points and competitive intel.

Technical Requirements

• 5 years of consulting experience implementing Oracle Cloud or Workday.
• Acted as a module implementation lead, driving configuration, testing, and completion of all delivery tasks end to end through go-live and hypercare.
• Completed at least three delivery projects end to end.
• Strong communicator who leverages active listening to align solutions and demos to customer challenges and pain points.
• Self-motivated high performer who manages up, escalates issues early, and learns new products with speed.
• Driven to expand expertise across multiple enterprise applications, including Oracle, Workday, UKG, and others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big Four consulting experience.
• Exposure to test automation, ERP release management (for example Oracle quarterly updates), or AI-driven delivery tooling.
• Prior pre-sales, solution consulting, or customer-facing demo experience.
