We're seeking an experienced Belt Press Operator / Dewatering Lead to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and leading projects at municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities throughout Florida.
This isn't just another equipment operator position. You'll play a key role in launching and growing an expanding dewatering services division while supporting wastewater clients across the state. What You'll Do
- Operate and oversee belt filter presses, dewatering systems, and related wastewater equipment.
- Lead daily field operations and supervise one or two field technicians.
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and demobilize equipment safely and efficiently.
- Optimize sludge conditioning, polymer usage, and dewatering performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Maintain project documentation and operational reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and internal teams.
- Travel to wastewater treatment facilities throughout Florida to support a variety of projects.
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating belt presses, centrifuges, dewatering systems, or similar wastewater equipment.
- Wastewater treatment, biosolids, or industrial wastewater experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Experience leading small crews is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to travel throughout Florida and work overtime as project schedules require.
