Schedule: 35 hours per week - Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team in a direct-hire capacity. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a small business environment and enjoys taking ownership of a wide range of financial and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable wearing many hats in a collaborative office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and management summaries using Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Handle invoicing, including parts and labor billing
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Support office operations and provide administrative assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service
- Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and business operations
Required Qualifications
- Bookkeeper Certification OR Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheet creation and reporting
- Experience working in a small business environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced office setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience working in an accounting firm
- Enrolled Agent designation or experience with business tax preparation/compliance
- Prior leadership or management experience
- Strategic planning experience
