Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Senior Bookkeeper. The Senior Bookkeeper will oversee and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, recording journal entries, and working with accounting software to support clients' personal and business financial needs. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about maintaining accuracy and providing exceptional support to clients.
This role is hybrid, with minimal in-person requirements—team members are expected to attend approximately three in-person meetings annually.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, and Financial Statements preparation
- Experience working with Accounting Software and proficiency in financial record-keeping
- Strong knowledge of general Finance principles and processes
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Candidates must have 5 years of hands-on, senior-level bookkeeping experience.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or financial management is highly beneficial
