Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a motivated and driven Junior Buyer in Southeast Houston. In this supportive and career-launching role, you will be responsible for learning core procurement processes from the ground up and receiving hands-on training to build a long-term foundation in supply chain. In a Junior Buyer job you’ll be responsible for:
Learning and executing company-specific procurement materials and operational processes.
Assisting with daily purchasing activities, order placement, and tracking shipments.
Maintaining accurate inventory and supplier records within the system.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
What you’ll need:
Internship experience OR early career experience with highly transferable skills.
A strong desire to learn; must be teachable, adaptable, and ready to be mentored.
Good foundational proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong organizational skills and excellent communication.
