Job summary
We are seeking an experienced SCADA Practice Lead to oversee the strategic direction, technical governance, and operational integrity of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems supporting Gas Operations. This leadership role will drive innovation in real-time systems, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and serve as a critical liaison between IT, engineering, gas controllers, and executive management.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain SCADA architecture standards, roadmaps, and integration practices in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Coordinate with executive leadership on capital project planning, risk assessment, and modernization initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day performance, availability, and reliability of SCADA platforms (e.g., OSI Monarch or equivalent).
- SCADA systems troubleshooting & optimization
- Direct root cause analysis and resolution of SCADA-related incidents, alarms, and data discrepancies.
- Lead and manage critical system patching, version upgrades, disaster recovery exercises, and cyber-hardening activities.
Requirements:
- Experience in SCADA operations, preferably in natural gas or energy sectors.
- Deep understanding of SCADA protocols (DNP3, Modbus, OPC UA), RTUs, PLCs, and telemetry systems.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., OSI Monarch, Ignition, Geo Scada, or equivalent).
- Experience with OT cybersecurity frameworks and SCADA network architecture.
