Make Ready Technician (46489)

Overview: 

Open House Atlanta Realty and Investments is searching for a skilled and reliable Make-Ready Technician to join our residential make-ready department. You will be responsible for repair duties for single-family homes purchased by our company.

We are looking for a candidate who is skilled with their hands, knowledgeable in repairs, hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts for this position.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Complete all assigned work for the entire make ready process from start to finish, adhering to company standards
• Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Perform electrical repairs for residential properties, including lights and laundry.
• Perform general landscaping to exterior of property
• Perform patch, repair and carpet replacement as necessary
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Complete general cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.
• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
• Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
• Other related repairs and work as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid GA Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification is a plus!
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Traveling to multiple sites across the Atlanta metro and nearby areas.

Work Location: On the road-  across the Atlanta metro and nearby areas.
