ABOUT THIS POSITION A Volunteer Coordinator at Open Door Mission provides training, works alongside, and directs volunteers on our six-city block campus, as well as providing administrative support where necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for an active people person with the ability to make others feel welcomed and appreciated. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and work alongside with volunteers in various areas around campus.
- Assist with processing volunteer applications, scheduling, and reporting.
- Give tours and presentations to volunteer groups.
- Follow up with and provide consistent encouragement to volunteers through personal interactions, guidance, and spiritual support.
- Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise.
- A visible relationship with Christ and regularly attend a Bible-believing church.
- Ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
