Mid-Level Test Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to lead validation across vehicle, mobile, and cloud solutions. You’ll design test plans, drive automation, support unit and regression testing, and ensure high-quality releases. This role partners closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize testing processes. Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various components within the connected vehicle ecosystem.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to ensure testing aligns with CI/CD best practices and release quality standards.
• Support regression testing, unit testing, and automation test frameworks to validate software reliability and performance.
• Participate in vehicle testing and integration validation for mobility and telematics solutions.
• Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution across testing and deployment environments.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software releases.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing efficiency by leveraging cloud-based testing tools and frameworks.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
• Strong background in vehicle testing, regression, and automation testing.
• Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and containerized deployments (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and EKS.
• Familiar with GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, or equivalent tools for continuous testing and delivery.
• Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or Shell for test automation or environment setup.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices testing, API validation, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, Jenkins, Datadog, or Splunk for automation and monitoring.
• Exposure to security and performance testing practices.
• Experience in testing for connected vehicle systems or automotive manufacturing platforms is a strong plus.
• Understanding of Terraform, AWS infrastructure, and Kubernetes troubleshooting will be advantageous.
