Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities.
- Knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.
- Serve as electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities.
- Supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
- Candidate will serve as a technical mentor for less experienced staff in local offices.
- Engage in Business Development activities such as proposal preparation and fee/scope development.
- Fill the role of Project Manager for selected Electrical projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial Electrical Engineering and Design;
- Prior experience in water/wastewater industry is desirable
- AutoCAD experience is a must, Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
