We’re looking for an IMS Database Engineer with strong expertise in IMS upgrades, database object management, and ISV product installations to help maintain and optimize our mainframe database environment. You’ll play a key role in configuration, SYSGEN processes, and customer transitions as part of a collaborative and fast-moving team.

Job Responsibilities
- Experience working within an IMS database environment.
- Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS operating system, storage, databases, CICS, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Experience in IMS V15.5 or later upgrade with SMP/E.
- Experience in ISV products includes, but is not limited to, CA database tools, IBM database tools, sysview, omegamon, and mainview.
- Experience in IMS database objects, logical unit definitions, and IMS commands.
- Expert in IMS configuration, like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, and subsystem configuration.
- Will serve as the primary technical contact for the mainframe database for one or more customers during the transition.
- 12 years of professional work experience as an IMS Mainframe System Programmer.
- Expertise in performing SMP/E and Non-SMPE Installation of ISV products.
- Expertise in IMS V15.5 or later upgrade.
- Mastery of IMS Database objects, PSB, ACB, and SYSGEN process.
