Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis & Leadership
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and system requirements for complex initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, opportunities, and solution options
- Translate business goals into actionable insights and deliverables
- Provide thought leadership on process improvements and best practices
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business partners, product owners, and technical teams
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to drive clarity and alignment
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing decisions and managing expectations
- Requirements Management
- Develop and maintain high-quality artifacts (e.g., business requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases)
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business value
- Manage scope and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Agile Delivery & Execution
- Support Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the backlog
- Ensure readiness of stories and acceptance criteria before development begins
- Process Improvement
- Analyze current-state processes and recommend optimized future-state solutions
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies, and propose mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams
- Quality & Validation
- Partner with QA and stakeholders to validate that solutions meet business needs
- Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
- Ensure delivered solutions align with defined success criteria
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of Business Analysis experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
