What are the responsibilities and job description for the Azure DevOps Engineer & Administrator position at OP Consulting Group LLC?
This position involves architecting, securing, and maintaining Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise environments, implementing CI/CD automation, and ensuring compliance with commonwealth security frameworks. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Azure DevOps tooling, GitHub administration, and secure cloud operations within regulated environments.
Work Schedule
Eligible for part-time telework with initial in-office requirement for the first 3 months, every Wednesday and Thursday
Post initial period, in-office requirement is at least 1 day monthly (first Wednesday of each month)
Key Responsibilities
Azure DevOps & GitHub Enterprise Administration
Administer and optimize Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Enterprise Cloud or Server
Ensure compliance with governance, auditing, and security best practices
Support migration efforts between Azure DevOps and GitHub
Azure DevOps - CI/CD Pipeline Engineering
Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
Integrate pipelines with Azure services
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with various teams to support modernization initiatives
Provide guidance on DevOps best practices and Git workflows
Soft Skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proactive mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Experience in Azure DevOps as both developer and administrator
Proficiency in Azure DevOps Services and Azure cloud administration
Expertise in CI/CD best practices and DevOps methodologies
Microsoft and GitHub certifications are highly desired
