Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic, people-focused Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations across corporate and franchise-owned shops. This role is critical in supporting field teams, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring consistency in execution and guest experience across all locations. You’ll work closely with Store Leaders, Franchise Partners, and cross-functional departments to deliver strong unit economics, scalable systems, and operational standards that align with our wellness-driven mission. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder, brand protector, and operator at heart who thrives in a fast-paced, franchise-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Profit and Loss accountability for Oola’s Corporate and Franchise System.
- Lead Oola’s Operations, coordinating all functions within the group.
- Oversee Oola stores' performance across both corporate and franchised locations.
- Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistent guest experience and brand alignment.
- Regularly visit locations to assess operations, coach leaders, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead business reviews and establish KPIs to measure performance across all shops (sales, labor, COGS, guest satisfaction, etc.).
- Serve as the primary liaison and advocate for Franchise Partners on operational matters.
- Guide new franchisees through onboarding, training, and successful store openings.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with brand standards, food safety, and wellness-related policies.
- Provide strategic and tactical support to help franchisees achieve operational and financial success.
- Report on KPIs and other store performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Operations on budgets, forecasts, and other financially related matters.
- Directly lead a team of Store Managers and Business Consultants overseeing both corporate and franchise operations.
- Champion a people-first culture rooted in wellness, integrity, and accountability.
- Partner closely with Culinary, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Training teams to support new product launches, LTOs, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Real Estate and Development teams on market growth, remodels, and expansion plans.
- Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback from the field and bringing insights back to the Corporate Office.
Required Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in QSR, fast casual, or multi-unit restaurant operations.
- Experience managing operations across both corporate and franchised units is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to drive results while fostering culture and upholding brand standards.
- Strong understanding of franchise systems, compliance, and relationship management.
- Passion for wellness, hospitality, and building scalable systems that support people and performance.
- Willingness to travel regularly across assigned markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Proven track record in leadership development and talent management.
