Odie’s Playhouse is seeking a toddler teacher (ages one & two) to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Responsibilities
- Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
- Plans individual and group activities to develop self-esteem and stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others, and using play equipment
- Presents expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
- Instructs children in practices of personal cleanliness and self-care, which help to create habits of caring for own clothing, picking up and putting away toys and books
- Completes 12 clock hours of professional in-service training annually
Qualifications:
Required
- High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent
Preferred
- CPR – Certified
- First Aid Training - Certified
