Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Physical Damage Claims Adjuster based in Grain Valley, MO. The Claims Adjuster will evaluate, investigate, and settle assigned claims adhering to company and industry standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing claims documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure efficient claims resolution. Providing exceptional service and maintaining compliance with insurance-related regulations are key responsibilities of this role.

Required

Preferred
- Claims adjuster experience
- Insurance sales or commercial cargo brokerage experience
- Mechanical and/or body shop knowledge of class 8 trucks
- Knowledge of AS400 and Content Manager
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Performs extensive and professional communication with insured, policy holder, claimant tow companies, government bureaus, outside adjusters, industry professionals, witnesses, police and any other person(s) necessary regarding claims
- Reviews field adjusters report and photos to determine settlement amount of repairable and total loss claims
- Prepares report of findings and negotiates settlement with insured
- Works with salvage buyers, and lien holders to obtain needed documents for settlement of claims
