About the Role:
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. You will be responsible for washing, drying, and folding patients' linens, as well as assisting with other laundry-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Wash, dry, and fold patients' linens and uniforms
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
Assist with other laundry-related tasks as needed
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective laundry operations
Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and laundry bags as needed
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
