We’re currently seeking a full-time, in-person Para Educator to support a school in Dakota County, MN for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 11, 2027
- Location: Dakota County, MN
- On-site, 31.25 hours per week
- School Year: 2026-2027
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting individuals with autism in a school setting, ABA environment, or autism-focused program is strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to provide personal care support (including feeding and toileting) as needed.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a certified teacher or licensed professional and follow established student support plans.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with educators and support staff.
- Ability to consistently work on-site and reliably follow the required daily schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-classroom support to students in an autism center-based program, under the direction of the assigned educator(s).
- Assist with instructional activities and help students access learning tasks in individual and small-group settings.
- Support implementation of behavior supports by reinforcing expectations and using approved de-escalation strategies.
- Provide student assistance with daily living needs as assigned, including feeding and toileting support when needed.
- Observe and share student progress, needs, and concerns with the supervising team to help maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
