Speech Language Pathologist Assistant [84135]

We're partnering with a school district in Dakota County, MN to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details:

Location: On-Site

Schedule: full time

School Year: 2026-2027

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification as an SLPA (or equivalent) in Minnesota.
• Prior experience assisting in schools with speech and language services preferred.
• Ability to work under close supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Strong organizational skills for managing therapy materials and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist in working with students individually or in groups to meet communication goals.
• Help collect and document data on student progress during therapy.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and equipment.
• Support students in using AAC devices as directed by the supervising SLP.
