Job Summary & Responsibilities The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern will support the EHS team in promong a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. This internship provides hands-on experience in safety audits, environmental compliance, incident investigations, safety data sheets, and EHS training. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about real-world EHS practices. Key Responsibilities: Assist with safety inspections and audits across the facility or worksite. Help maintain EHS documentaon, including training records, safety data sheets (SDS), and inspection logs. Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions. Support the implementation of safety and environmental initiatives (e.g., recycling programs, PPE compliance, waste disposal). Aend and assist with safety meetings and toolbox talks. Conduct research on regulatory changes and best practices. Contribute to the development of EHS training materials and signage. Perform data entry and reporting for key safety and environmental metrics. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Basic understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations is a plus.
