Ontario Christian School is seeking a qualified 4th Grade Teacher who will contribute to our commitment to academic excellence and faith-based education. This educator will design and deliver engaging lesson plans while creatively integrating biblical truth into a rigorous, standards-based curriculum. Through both instruction and mentorship, the teacher will guide students in their academic growth while supporting their spiritual development.
The ideal candidate will preferably have 2 years of classroom teaching experience in the applicable subject area and a passion for collaborating with colleagues in a Christ-centered environment. Experience in a Christian school setting is preferred. As a member of the Ontario Christian faculty, this individual is expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to service. The Teacher will plan, organize and implement a biblically based, faith-integrated curriculum that guides, mentors and develops students both spiritually and academically.
Requirements:Experience
- 2 years of classroom teaching experience, teaching in an applicable grade or subject preferred.
- Prior experience working in a Christian school environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a teaching related field.
- Current teaching credential or working towards a credential in the appropriate subject area.
- Related education in the Christian faith.
- Completion of student teaching.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
- Best practice teaching methods.
