Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met in a timely manner.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the training of new employees on assembly line procedures as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in material handling and inventory management.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification may be required).
