Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, PET scans, DEXA scans, and mammography.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret images and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in accordance with medical imaging regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuous education.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to diagnostic radiology.
- Experience in nuclear medicine, sonography, emergency medicine, or urgent care is preferred.
- Familiarity with level I or level II trauma center operations is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of physiology as it relates to imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or trauma centers.
