The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.Create labor records for all transactions.Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.Candidates have to pass a physical for this role They need to be able to lift 60 lbs from floor to knuckles levels on an occasional basis.Lift at least 60 pounds from floor to waist level on occassional basis.Lift at least 50 pounds from floor to shoulder level on occassional basis.Lift at least 30 pounds from floor to crown level on an occassional basis.Shift information: 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday.VEVRAA Federal Contractor - priority referral of Protected Veterans requested.
