Responsibilities:• Assist with transition from development to production• Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical,according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications and writtenprocedures• Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customerdelivery• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/ormaintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control• Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, Lathe, gauges, etc.• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency• Perform routine lathe, equipment maintenance and functions such as daily clean-up of work areas• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success• Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfullyadmitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired• Basic mathematics skills• High School diploma or GED• 3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field• Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paceddynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities• Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instruction• Hand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical components• Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Perform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs.• Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field• Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment• Experience with manual lathe machiningSchedule• 07:00 – 15:30 with overtime and weekend hours as neededVEVRAA Federal Contractor - priority referral of Protected Veterans requested.
