Mechanical Engineer (JOB ID 2028)

OneSparQ is looking for an Mechanical Engineer for a growing Engineering firm in Nashville, TN.

Required Skills:

• 6 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Direct experience in mechanical design for healthcare, education, or commercial building projects
• Client-facing experience
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

Additional Skills: (not required)

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, or similar software
• Proven project management experience, including the ability to work directly with clients and manage projects through completion

Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with owners and architects across healthcare, commercial, and higher education projects, ensuring designs meet client goals and project requirements.
• Lead mechanical design efforts using Revit, taking projects from early design through full production.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams to maintain alignment throughout all phases of the project.
• Participate in client meetings and conduct job site walkthroughs, often working alongside and supporting junior mechanical engineers.
• Respond to RFIs and assist in project closeout to ensure smooth delivery and completion.
• Step in to support additional projects and team needs as required, contributing to overall team success.
