As a Business Consultant, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while offering tailored HR, payroll, and HCM solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
🚀 What You’ll Do- Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective client organizations
- Conduct needs assessments and present customized HR/HCM solutions
- Own the full sales cycle including pricing, negotiation, closing, and implementation handoff
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and consistently meet or exceed quotas
- Develop relationships with channel partners (CPAs, brokers, financial institutions)
- Deliver presentations, proposals, and executive summaries to clients
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and internal training sessions
- 2 years of B2B sales experience (HCM, payroll, SaaS, or PEO preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong prospecting and new business generation skills
- Experience managing full sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Experience with payroll, HR technology, or PEO services
- Familiarity with SMB or mid-market customers
- Existing network of business decision-makers or referral partners
