ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Consultant located in Irvine and Burbank, CA. The Business Consultant will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while delivering consultative HR and business solutions to clients.
In this role, you will execute aggressive prospecting strategies to engage key decision-makers, build a strong pipeline, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through closing and post-sale implementation.
Key responsibilities include generating leads through networking, cold outreach, and channel partnerships; conducting discovery to understand client needs; presenting tailored HR, payroll, and workforce solutions; negotiating pricing and services; and finalizing client agreements. You will also collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding and ensure a smooth client experience post-sale.
Success in this role requires a high-energy, results-driven approach, strong pipeline management, and the ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical ability to assess client needs and position relevant solutions
- Proven experience in B2B sales with a consultative approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and stakeholders
- Understanding of business operations and the ability to align solutions to client needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and closing new business is required
EXPEREINCE:
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience (HR, payroll, HCM, SaaS, or related industries preferred)
Demonstrated success in:
- Lead generation and pipeline development
- Full-cycle sales ownership (prospecting → closing)
- Meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
