Job Summary:

As pre-registration, you will be the contact for patients and others via multiple lines of communication, including phone, SMS, email, and more. Pre-registration is a personal guide for our patients as they receive care at OnePeak Medical. This role helps patients understand their insurance and costs, as well as all the services OnePeak Medical has to offer. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high patient satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional customer service

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm and positive phone greeting for patients.
  • Register patients and update their demographics and insurance data in the electronic health records system.
  • Confirm the accuracy of patient information advising on necessary documentation updates.
  • Ensure all required forms, consents, and documents are completed prior to appointments.
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits.
  • Offer personal knowledge on products and services
  • Fulfill end-of-day operational responsibilities.
  • Attend and complete department and clinical meetings and trainings as scheduled.
  • Adhere to and enforce all HIPAA and OSHA compliance laws and regulations. 
  • Adhere to OnePeak Medical's policies and procedures, as outlined in the employee handbook and policies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required in support of OnePeak Medical.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to meet business needs

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – required
  • 6 months of customer service experience – required
  • 6 months of front desk reception or scheduling experience in a medical office – strongly preferred
  • Prior PM/EHR experience – strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – strongly preferred
  • Computer/tech savvy –strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with medical billing and insurance payors, including Medicare, medicaid, private insurance, and managed care programs – strongly preferred
