We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Planner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Overview
The Junior Planner supports the organization by maintaining healthy inventory levels on core product, providing key insights on retail performance, and maximizing operational efficiencies internally and with account partners. This role is customer-facing and highly analytical, ideal for someone detail-oriented, curious, and eager to grow in retail planning.
Responsibilities
Replenishment & Forecasting
- Manage replenishment forecasting and inventory for assigned categories/brands.
- Review in season performance and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Monitor company weeks of supply and work with production on purchase order creation to maintain in-stock position.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce and update weekly inventory and sales reports.
- Maintain planning tools and perform ad‑hoc analysis on trends and key items.
- Identify and communicate inventory risks and opportunities internally and with external account partners.
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Merchandising, Design, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
- Participate in vendor/internal meetings with updates on shipments and retail selling.
- Provide support for key partners in the market appointment cycles.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of retail or wholesale experience.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
