The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support for recruiting, as well as administrative support across multiple OCH locations. The position may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: candidate communication, interview scheduling, recruitment process follow-up, applicant tracking system (ATS) administration, background checks, hosting and coordinating on-site visits, processing candidate travel support reimbursements, and other HR processes as assigned.

This position is full-time and primarily located at our Hood River, Oregon clinic.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of office or administrative support experience.
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to meet timelines for team and organizational goals safely and with a high level of quality. Ability to prioritize and organize work according to multiple and, at times, competing timelines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Problem Solving/Critical Analysis – Ability to use initiative and sound judgment to resolve problems and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment that expects and promotes teamwork and to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to inspire trust and confidence and communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously within scope while managing multiple tasks with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, compliance, and efficiency.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), ADP, and other systems.
- Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Knowledge of assigned human resource functions, customer service, and workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a team environment, independently, and/or be self-directed.
- Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic and changing community healthcare environment.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, with prior authorization.
- Ability to travel between health center sites as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Two (2) or more years of experience in general human resources functions, or a combination of equivalent experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Experience with the ADP Workforce Now system.
- Experience supporting multiple teams and/or multiple locations.
- Ability to learn Oregon and Washington employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to support HR strategies and initiatives through successful implementation.
- Experience in a grant-funded organization (e.g., a Federally Qualified Health Center [FQHC]).

- Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25.50- $26.00 per hour, based on experience/certification
- Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
