The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating key human resource functions, as well as providing day-to-day administrative support across multiple OCH locations. This position provides direct support in areas such as employee recordkeeping, including file maintenance, HRIS entry, data management/time and attendance, onboarding, recruitment and employment processes, and other core HR functions.
The HR Coordinator plays a proactive role in managing workflow, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This position may also assist with compliance tracking and generating standard HR reports. The role is expected to resolve most questions and complete tasks with minimal to moderate guidance. It requires the integration of several bodies of knowledge, analytical interpretation, close attention to detail, and a high level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of office or administrative support experience
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize multiple and competing deadlines
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; able to use initiative and sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment and manage ambiguity
- Demonstrated ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple responsibilities
- High-level computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, ADP, and other systems
- Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Customer/client focus with understanding of HR functions and workplace safety
- Capability to work independently and/or be self-directed
- Ability to identify learning needs and create plans to address them
- Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic and evolving community healthcare environment

- Ability to travel between health center sites as needed
- Occasional evening or weekend work as required (with prior authorization
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in general HR functions, or equivalent experience with increasing responsibility (preferably in healthcare)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Experience supporting multiple teams or multiple locations
- Ability to learn Oregon and Washington employment rules and regulations
- Ability to support HR strategies and initiatives to success
- Experience in a grant-funded organization (e.g., Federally Qualified Health Center – FQHC)
