NOW HIRING — Full-Time Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)
Once Upon a Child Learning & Development Center is seeking a dependable, patient, and energetic toddler teacher to join our team. We currently serve a small group (5–7 toddlers) and are looking for someone who can provide structure, positivity, and consistent supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise toddlers ages 24–36 months
- Implement daily routines (circle time, potty, meals, nap)
- Maintain a safe and engaging classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Follow DHR guidelines and center policies
- Work as part of a supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Experience in toddler classroom preferred
- Strong behavior management and patience
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Must pass background check
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
Job Overview
Requirements (Will Be Verified):
At least 1 year of experience working with 2-year-olds in a licensed childcare setting
Must have patience and a willingness to adjust to the needs of young children
Knowledge of age-appropriate learning activities and child development
Ability to create a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must meet state licensing requirements (background check, training, etc.)
Hours: Monday–Friday
Pay: Based on experience
