Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment at customer job sites. Your expertise will ensure our clients’ equipment operates efficiently and safely, providing exceptional customer service along the way.
Duties
- Perform appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration maintenance, and mechanical systems repair at various customer locations.
- Install new appliances, kitchen equipment, HVAC units, and related mechanical systems according to schematics and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on hydraulic hoses, fittings, accessories, and other mechanical components to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites; adhere to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly and professionally.
- Document all work performed accurately in service reports and update maintenance logs regularly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
- Experience with appliance installation, equipment repair, and maintenance operations (MRO).
- Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems and kitchen equipment.
- Construction experience or familiarity with mechanical systems installation is a plus.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely; valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
