ON Site is seeking a Director of Audio Visual to lead and manage audio visual services within a hospitality environment. This role is responsible for the overall performance of on-site AV operations, including sales, client relations, financial oversight, and team leadership.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful event execution while maintaining strong property relationships and delivering a high level of service to both venue partners and end-user clients. The Director of Audio Visual is expected to lead by example, uphold operational standards, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the business.

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Overall management of audio visual services in a hospitality environment
- Emphasis on sales, property relations, account management, equipment and labor scheduling, personnel management
- Train, mentor, and coach direct reports
- Equipment inventory and quality control
- Ensure billing and accounting functions are accurate and in compliance with SOX guidelines
- Understand financial reports to inform and facilitate process and profit improvement
- Promote exemplary customer service to both facility customer/partner and end-user clients
- Maintain a professional image, as well as a safe and healthy work environment
- Complete all required daily paperwork and ON Site training
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Six years’ experience with in-house audio visual services
- Background in music, recording, audio visual, computers, or related technology fields preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English; second language helpful
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of business operation fundamentals including profit and loss, inventory control, and logistics
- Ability to work well under deadlines and high-pressure environments with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Requires physical mobility including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Work performed indoors and outdoors as needed
