Job Title: Sr UAT Test Lead / Business Analyst – Healthcare Insurance
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Business Analyst / UAT Test Lead to serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and quality assurance teams within the healthcare insurance domain. This role is responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, translating business needs into functional specifications, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate possesses strong healthcare payer industry knowledge, excellent analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience leading requirements gathering, test planning, test execution, and defect management across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive UAT strategies, plans, schedules, and test scenarios.
- Collaborate with business users to define acceptance criteria and expected outcomes.
- Create and review UAT test cases and test data requirements.
- Coordinate UAT execution across multiple business teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate defect triage meetings and work closely with development and QA teams to resolve issues.
- Track testing progress, risks, defects, and overall readiness for production deployment.
- Obtain business sign-off and ensure solution acceptance criteria are met.
Business Analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and subject matter experts to understand business objectives and operational challenges.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions.
- Document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and business rules.
- Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development and testing teams.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support impact analysis for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and production issues.
Collaboration with Business, Technology & QA Teams
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Clarify requirements and provide functional guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support QA teams in understanding business processes and testing requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirements reviews, and release planning activities.
- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support production deployments and post-implementation validation activities.
Healthcare Insurance Domain Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7 years of Business Analysis experience.
- 7 years of UAT/Test Lead experience.
- Experience working in Healthcare Insurance/Payer organizations.

- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)

- Test Plans and Test Cases
- Experience leading end-to-end UAT activities.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with requirements management and test management tools.
