Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler I

As a Production Assembler I, you will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that ensures components meet quality and safety requirements. You will work on second shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am) onsite, collaborating with the production team, quality inspectors, and supervisors to meet production targets and maintain process compliance. Your work directly supports the client's manufacturing operations and product readiness.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following established instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or uncomplicated schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures; adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to components
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies and use heating elements or ovens as required
• Conduct in-process testing and follow safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in assembly or a related field
• Ability to read and understand English and follow written processes and safety rules
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
• Basic math skills and ability to problem-solve using existing procedures
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field

• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints
• Prior experience using hand tools in a production or assembly environment

Pay Range

$17.60 - $22.00/hour
