Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Claremore, Oklahoma!

Overview:
This position is responsible for leading aspects of the supply chain operations. This includes sourcing raw materials, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and production material planning. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex bills of materials (BOMs), long-lead specialty components, and working with domestic and international suppliers. Both domestic and international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead and oversee procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including import/export laws and safety standards.
- Coordinate with demand planning and sales teams to forecast and manage material requirements.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance working capital objectives with service level requirements.
- Use ERP/MRP systems to manage supply chain operations and reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or ISM CPSM preferred.
- Experience working in the industrial equipment industry.
